App Store screenshots should not be a project. They should be a solved problem.
AppScreenshotStudio exists so that anyone shipping a new app can describe it and walk away with a store-ready set built to earn installs. No canvas to fill, no template library to browse, no designer to brief.
Our Story
We built AppScreenshotStudio because we kept shipping apps and kept guessing at the screenshots. Design software was overkill. Hiring a designer was expensive and slow, and what came back was one beautiful set that nobody could tell us anything about. Templates demanded decisions we had no basis for, because we had never seen what good looked like for our own app.
So the first thing we built was a way to skip the specifying. Describe the app, see a first set, refine via chat until it fits. Recognition is cheap; specification is hard.
The second thing took longer to admit. Liking a set is not the same as the set working. The person picking the screenshots is not the person deciding whether to install, and taste is not evidence. That is the difference between a screenshot tool and a design tool, and it is the one we chose to be on the right side of.
How We Work
Installs, not applause
We are not trying to out-design a designer, and we are not on that axis at all. A designer makes one beautiful set and cannot tell you whether it worked. Every layout, caption, and frame order here is chosen against a narrower question: does someone scrolling past understand what this app does, fast enough to stop?
Iterate, don't specify
We don't give you a canvas and say “go.” The first set arrives in seconds and you steer it through chat until it's yours. Layout, typography, color, and device framing are handled for you. You override only what you actively want different.
Built for the launch moment
Not for a job title. Whether you are a solo developer, a two-person team, or a freelancer shipping a client's app, the problem is the same: a listing goes live in a few days and the screenshots are the last thing standing in the way. Every pricing and product decision is made for that moment.
Honest about what we can prove
Nearly every App Store conversion statistic in circulation traces back to a testing vendor's own marketing, recycled between blogs until it reads like a fact. We don't repeat those. What is genuinely verifiable is Apple's Product Page Optimization: free, built into App Store Connect, and able to test up to three alternates against your live listing. It also needs real traffic to reach a result, which a brand-new app does not have yet. We would rather tell you that than sell you a test you cannot run.
Compliance is built in
App Store dimension requirements, device frame specs, and keeping real app UI in every frame are all handled automatically. Screenshots are ready to upload without manual checks.
