The same five-frame set, rendered in Ukrainian. Real output from the pipeline, not a mockup of one.
Українська
Ukraine has a large, technically literate mobile user base, and shipping a uk localization rather than defaulting Ukrainian users to ru is read as a deliberate choice rather than a technical detail. Treating the two as interchangeable is the mistake to avoid.

What breaks in Ukrainian
Ukrainian expands about as much as Russian does against English, and for the same reasons: longer words and inflected endings. The layout consequence is ordinary. The consequence that is not ordinary is which letters appear, because Ukrainian and Russian are not the same alphabet and using one for the other is immediately visible.
Ukrainian uses і, ї, є and ґ, none of which exist in Russian, so a Russian translation reused as Ukrainian is visibly wrong
Russian и, ы, э and ъ do not appear in Ukrainian, so their presence is the giveaway that the text was not actually translated
Words run longer than English, so a tightly fitted headline needs an extra line
Machine translation between the two languages preserves meaning while leaving the wrong letterforms in place
You type. The canvas builds.
Describe your app, see your first set, then ask for Ukrainian. The layout survives the language change because you are editing the same set, not starting a new one.

Ukrainian sets, handled
A genuinely separate uk localization rather than Russian text relabelled
No extra font download, because the builder typefaces already carry Cyrillic
Captions laid out against real Ukrainian word lengths
The same set you built in English, retranslated in chat without rebuilding the layout
Exports at the exact dimensions App Store Connect requires for the uk localization
Questions & Answers
Can I use my Russian screenshots for Ukrainian users?
Technically App Store Connect will let you skip uk and let those users fall back, and it is a poor idea. They are different languages using different alphabets: Ukrainian has і, ї, є and ґ, and lacks и, ы, э and ъ. A Ukrainian speaker sees the difference in the first word. Beyond correctness, defaulting Ukrainian users to Russian is a choice they will read as one.
Does Ukrainian need a different font from English?
No. The typefaces the builder uses already carry Cyrillic, so Ukrainian captions render in the same font as your English ones with no fallback family and no extra download.
How do I check the translation is actually Ukrainian?
Look for the four letters Russian does not have (і, ї, є, ґ) and the four Ukrainian does not use (и, ы, э, ъ). Text containing the second group is Russian regardless of what the file is labelled. It is a five-second check and it catches the most common failure.
Which storefront does the uk localization reach?
Ukraine, plus any Ukrainian-language device elsewhere. Localizations follow the device language, so the substantial Ukrainian population now living across Europe sees your uk screenshots on their local storefronts.
