What size does this generate for 10-inch Android tablets?

1600×2560 in portrait, the native resolution of the 16:10 panel most 10-inch Android tablets ship with. Google does not publish an exact pixel size for the tablet slots, so this is the conventional working size rather than a rule; it clears every limit Play does publish.

Can I just upload my 7-inch screenshots to the 10-inch slot?

They will pass validation. 1200×1920 and 1600×2560 are both 5:8, so the aspect ratio is identical and nothing gets rejected. The cost is resolution: Play renders your 1200px-wide file on a 1600px-wide slot, so type and UI detail soften. Rendering at 1600×2560 avoids the resample.

Does Google Play actually require a separate 10-inch upload?

Play Console has separate 7-inch and 10-inch tablet slots, and asks for at least 4 screenshots per large-screen slot. Tablet screenshots matter if you want the "designed for tablet" treatment. Verify against Play Console Help before you submit, because tablet specs move.

Can I show a tablet app in landscape?
